The world’s largest social media platform Facebook owned by Mark Zuckerberg is no doubt the biggest online community in the 21st Century.
Mark Zuckerberg allegedly sacks two staff
With the increasing growth of users and the need to make changes and improve performance and user engagement, it is alleged that the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has relieved two of his staff of their duties as team members of Facebook.
The two people leaving Facebook team are Chris Cox who was the Chief Product Officer and Chris Daniels the Head of WhatsApp; according to BBC news, no statement has been explicitly issued to the general public regarding the release of these two top officials from Facebook.
Mr. Cox joined the Facebook team in 2005 while Daniels later joined a year ago; the two team members have really contributed to the growth of the frequently used social media space.
Facebook was launched in 2005 by Mark Zuckerberg with recent statistics revealing that about 2.3 billion people are currently using the platform; this is a tremendous increase from the 2.7 billion people who were Facebook registered users in 2018.
This week the social media giant (Facebook) experienced the worst outage; users complained about load time delays and other errors. The fakebook team however disclosed that the issue was as a result of server configuration change.
I am working with the team to snappily fix the issue said Zuckerberg.
