Facebook to Begin Monitoring Phone Activities With New App

One of the biggest social media body, Facebook have introduced a new medium where they will pay people to supervise phone activities on a new app known as study

This app is going to be tracking other apps on someone’s phone, the person’s location, time spent on the apps, and other things.

But this app will not temper with people’s privacy content like passwords, websites visited and messages.

Nevertheless, this app shows that facebook learned some lessons after the user tracking research application failed.

This app will only be available for people between the ages of 18 and above.

User’s ages will be verified by their Facebook account age; participants will need to have a PayPal account in order to get paid.

Study will be referencing other data it collects about someone when analyzing data from the application and it won’t be linked to your account or used to target ads to you.

According to the Guardian what is to be earned if or when you sign up this app has not been disclosed, a blog post reveals that the research participants will be compensated.

Nevertheless, this app will not be accessible to sign up but facebook will target users through Ads, in such a way that you can click to sign.

This application will be launched in the United states, india and maybe distribute across countries.
